Hello, My name is Amanda To, and I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to Vietnamese parents. I spent my early childhood in Vancouver, British Columbia before moving to Ontario in the early 2000s.
I joined the mortgage industry because I am drawn to roles where I can help others. As an empath, I understand the impact a mortgage professional can have on a client's life, and it is rewarding to help them achieve their dream of home ownership.
When working with my clients, their happiness is my priority. I enjoy learning about their vision and goals, and I see our partnership as an opportunity to share knowledge, insights, and support that empowers them to have confidence in their mortgage decisions.
I believe my clients will want to work with me because I am proactive, thorough, and provide regular updates to ensure they are always in the loop and can be relaxed during the process.
In terms of professional accomplishments, I am most proud of consistently receiving the most 5-star Google reviews month after month while employed as an underwriter at a high-volume brokerage. I am determined to continue providing exceptional service to my clients.
Outside of work, I like to have fun by attending concerts, creating black and white paintings, staying active at the gym, hiking, indoor bouldering, practicing meditation, yoga, reading, stargazing, or just resting and watching TV.
My favorite book is "Quiet" by Susan Cain because it changed my life and perspective on being an introvert.
I chose to join the Wolfpack team because of its founders, Jeff Stafford and Kelly Bone. I respect and admire their values and vision. I have always dreamed of being part of a supportive network where I have mentors who genuinely want to help others.
My favorite quote is by Leonardo da Vinci - “Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.” This quote resonates with me because I see the world in this way. I have experienced many synchronistic moments in my life and have always been able to spot how one thing affects another.
Lastly, during a deep meditation, I saw a higher version of myself, and her name was Hyena. So, that would be my wolf name.
